The Exmerce Commitment

Exmerce helps businesses grow through fair trade, collaboration, and trusted relationships.
All members agree to act with professionalism, integrity, and respect.

Trading Guidelines

1. Accepting Trade
Members agree to accept payment 100% in Exmerce Dollars (including GST).

Exceptions:

• General Contractors
• Landscapers
• Auto Mechanics

For these businesses:

• Labour = 100% Exmerce Dollars
• Parts and Materials = must be paid in cash

It’s strongly recommended that for any unauthorized cash/trade blends, you contact Exmerce to ensure the member is following established trading policies.

2. Fair Pricing
Charge the same prices as you would for cash customers.
No price increases for barter transactions.

3. Professional Service
Provide timely, high-quality service.
Communicate clearly and treat others with respect.

4. Availability
Offer your products and services to the network while managing your own capacity.

5. Honest Trading
Act in good faith.
Be accurate in what you offer.
Confirm the buyer has enough Exmerce Dollars before completing a trade.

6. Declining Requests
You may decline a trade due to timing or availability.
You may not refuse a trade just because it is barter.

7. Account Responsibility
Keep your account in good standing and manage your trade balance responsibly.

8. Resolving Issues
Try to resolve concerns directly with the other member first.
Exmerce can help if needed.

9. Role of Exmerce
Exmerce connects members but is not part of individual transactions.
Each member is responsible for delivering their products and services.
